Zebbug derives its name from a Maltese word olive tree or else from food products or tools which were used to produced olive oil.The small village of Iz-Zebbug is on the island of Gozo in Malta. It is located in the northwest of the island, close to the towns of Gharb and Marsalforn, on a hilltop overlooking the coast. The village is well-known for its fine lacework and for its nearby coastal beauty spots.
