This property is situated in the outskirts of the traditional Gozo village of San Lawrenz. Surrounded by hills and tilled farmland, it is a delightful experience to watch the several farmers nourishing their land and picking the vegetables or fruit for delivering to the "pitkali" - vegetable market. The property has a large outdoor pool enjoying over 12 hours of sunshine, fully equipped with sunbeds, a large barbeque, sun-umbrellas and outdoor tables and chairs ideally for an evening dinner when the sun is preparing to rest and the birds have returned to their nests built in every niche that they have been able to locate in all the corners of the farmhouse. There are 5 bedrooms serviced by 4 bathrooms and an expansive room set as sitting, dining and kitchen, fully equipped for the morning breakfast and lunch, to shade from the heat of the morning sun. There is no better way than to wake up to the early morning church bell to introduce you to the early morning mass, walk a few distance away from the property to reach the center of the village, laze in the large village square, to savour the daily village life, or to do the morning shopping at the traditional one man Gozo grocery, or to visit the Local Police station and keep company to the lone Policeman on duty or to visit the local village football club, chat up the local boys and fill up with a cold local Beer or after a full day of sun-bathing and swimming, walk across to the middle of the Piazetta (square), in the breeze of the late evening, sit at one of the several tables located in the middle of the village square and enjoy of one of Gozo's best restaurant by savouring the delicious Gozo cheeseletts or eat fresh fish just delivered by the local Gozo fisherman. Upon arrival in mgarr harbour in Gozo drive towards Victoria. You pass Mcdonalds on your right, the police station on your left, and the market square on your left. Exit victoria taking you on the road leading to the villages of ghasri, gharb and san lawrenz. Pass underneath an arch, part of an old aquadact, and on roundabout keep going straight. Do no turn right towards either ghasri or ta' pinu church or gharb village. On your left, you pass ta' dbiegi crafts village and approx 100 meters further on, turn to a subsidiary road on your left. Drive a further 200 meters until you pass on your right, the entrance to the 5 star Kempinski Hotel 10 meters further down is the last building on your left, which is your stop to the farmhouse. You enter on foot though an arch and right there is the entrance to 2 adjacent farmhouses, one of which is your Farmhouse in Gozo for a memorable Holiday. Payment Policy All Rates are in Euros. Minimum number of persons staying and minimum number of nights and special discounts applicable varies according to the holiday season. Enquire with owner who will respond to your request same day. A deposit equivalent to 20% of the total letting or minimum 1 day letting is due to secure booking. The deposit has to be received within 10 working days from confirmation of temporary reservation. Balance of holiday letting plus refundable deposit has to be received before 30 days from commencement of letting. Cancellation Policy The following cancellation fees apply: before 90 days from arrival: 10% of the rental fee. In all other instances the full amount paid is forfeited.
